Frequently asked

Where is my trend line?

The trend is a 7-day rolling average and needs at least two logged days inside the window before it can draw anything. Until then the dashboard shows your raw entry instead. Log a few days in a row and the line appears.

My status is stuck on GETTING STARTED.

That status is deliberate for the first few days — with three or fewer logged days there is not enough data to honestly call the direction anything. It moves on its own once the trend has something to stand on.

I changed my goal and my status reset.

Also deliberate. Statuses like VISIBLE EFFORT and OFF TRACK assert two weeks of a direction, and days logged under a previous goal cannot honestly support that claim — three good weeks of cutting would read as failure the moment you switched to a bulk. Your history stays intact; only the status starts over.

Today's weight is higher than yesterday. Did I break something?

No. Daily weight moves with salt, water, and what time you last ate. That is exactly why the app makes the trend the headline and leaves the raw number as faint background data.

I paid and the app still looks locked.

Open Settings, find the UNLOCK section and tap Restore Purchases, making sure you are signed in with the same Apple Account that made the purchase. If it still does not unlock, email us with the date of purchase.

Is it a subscription?

No. One non-consumable unlock, paid once. Logging weight and reading the trend stays free and fully functional whether you buy it or not.

Can I switch between kilograms and pounds?

Yes, in Settings. Weight is always stored internally in kilograms and converted for display, so switching units never rewrites your history or introduces rounding drift.

Does my data sync between devices?

Not in this version. Everything lives on the one device. If that device is backed up to iCloud or a computer, the app's data travels with that backup and comes back when you restore — but there is no live sync between two phones.

How do I delete everything?

Settings has a delete-all option that permanently removes every logged day, weight, macro and photo. Deleting the app from your iPhone removes the data too. Neither can be undone.

Reminders are not arriving.

Check iOS Settings → Notifications → Weightfile and confirm notifications are allowed. Reminders are scheduled on the device and are skipped on purpose when you have already logged what the reminder is about.
